Sidewalk Sales during Blueberry Dance Festival
Friday, July 24th (TODAY!) is Sidewalk Sales in downtown Marquette. At Getz’s Department Store all summer Junior’s, Women’s, and Men’s will be 50% off or more! The streets will be filled with blow up slides for the kids, blueberry lemonade, music and sales.

51st Annual Art on the Rocks Show presents 200 fabulous artists at its new location, Mattson Lower Harbor Park. The show has twice been named in Sunshine Artists Magazine as one of the top 200 shows in the U.S.A. The event takes place Saturday-Sunday, July 25th-26th from 10:00am-6:00pm. Artists from all over the country including local artists sell and display their masterpieces. You’ll find jewlery, furniture, paintings, clothing and much much more. July 23rd-July 25th Marquette is having the annual Blueberry Dance Festival brought to you by the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center & Second Skin Shop. There are dance workshops, talent shows, tent sales and a lot of blueberries. 
Downtown bursts with activity as attendees are treated to Sidewalk Sales, children’s Talent Show, Artists & Craft Market and numerous activities for children and families. Music fills the streets with the “Blueberry jam” featuring a day full of musical entertainment and dancing. 
Guest appearances by Celia Weiss Bambara and Byron “Illastik” Reynolds. Celia has a P.H.D in Dance History and Theory. She performs contemporary fusional which is a blend of traditional African diasporic dance and contemporary dance. Byron performs hip-hop, locking, popping and waving. He was worked with artists such as PINK, GENUWINE and Ciara. He was also featured in the movie “Save The Last Dance”.
Getz’s Department Store is participating in the side walk sales event. Everything in the store is going outside and it is all being marked down. Stop by and participate in the blueberry festivities. See you there.
